A Board Certified Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Vahidi enjoys practicing primary eye care as well as being involved in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She is a member of the Canadian Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Vahidi grew up in North Vancouver attending both Elementary and High school on the North Shore. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia. She then went on to obtain her doctorates in Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr. Vahidi’s clinical experiences have placed her throughout the United States and Canada. Her studies have included clinical rotations in Philadelphia PA, Newtown PA, Trenton NJ, Washington NC and Palo Alto/Stanford CA. During her rotations she focused on the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Retinal disorders, Cataracts, Low Vision, Macular degeneration and Systemic disorders of the eye. Besides practicing at North Shore Optometry Clinic, Dr. Vahidi is also the leading Optometrist at LasikMD. Her level of expertise and training in laser vision correction has allowed her to participate and present lectures on topics related to the newest advances in laser vision correction. In her spare time Dr. Vahidi enjoys traveling, baking and rooting for the Boston Celtics.
